Xfree not working

I've just installed Slackware 9.0(xfree 4.3.0) , right after the installation i typed xf86cfg, the screen got black for some momments, and then i received error messages like "can't locate module sis" and "failed loading kernel module sis" . Then i tried to run the X typing startx , it does not start and the same thing happened, the same error messages...

My video card is the onboard SiS620

Thanks!

I don't know how to help you.

Try to use differents configurations.... maybe you are using some incorrect
configuration somewhere...

Hope someone could help you!

What kernel are you using?

Do you have the SIS module enabled in the kernel? I'm not sure exactly where it is in the 2.4 series, but in the 2.6 series its
Device Drivers --> Character Devices --> SiS chipset support. (Y)
