xfce: LCD Brightness plugin??

Running Slackware 13.0 and xfce I have been searching for the 'LCD Brightness plugin' described here:

http://goodies.xfce.org/projects/app...ghtness-plugin

Is this an extra that I have to install or am I being a little obtuse??

I think this is only available in later xfce4-power-manager versions.
The Slackware package is 0.6.6 while 0.8.4 has been released a while ago.

Thanks for that. I picked up the latest version + libnotify and it compiled and ran nicely.
