well you have a GLIBC error this means one program was built on a newer glibc than then one your running.
so it seems you installed a program or library built on another system and that it is incompatible with your installed version of Slackware.
So when you installed it what ever it was. It was not built on your system.
I would do a slackpkg update then I would do a slackpkg upgrade-all
then I would do a
Code:
slackpkg reinstall l x xfce
and get your system back in sync with slackware. Be careful when you install foreign programs.

If you're not aware of something that is provided (like slackpkg), it is best to google it and see if you can figure out what they mean. Slackware is not a distro where you'll be able to get through solely by someone walking you through every little bit of it. You should try and figure things out on your own, and when you're presented with something that you're not sure of, see if some google searching can clear it up.

http://docs.slackware.com/slackware:slackpkg

And if you're struggling with this, I'm not sure LFS is a good idea for you. There's likely to be issues while compiling programs that you'll be needing to figure out. Googling is a valuable resource that you will need to learn to be able to help you with LFS.
