xf86config under kde

Maybe I've gone nuts but I could swear that when I installed Slackware in my machine a few weeks ago I used a kde tool (maybe even in the control center) to setup X properly, ie to use my video card instead of the vesa framebuffer. Today at work I installed Slackware on my machine and I can't find the bleepin tool.

Now I used the tool before upgrading from kde 3.1 to 3.2, and at work I immediatly upgraded to 3.2. So I'm thinking I'm sane and the tool disapeared in 3.2. Can anyone who still use the original KDE that ships with Slackware 9.1 tell me if there is kde tool to adjust the X configuration (and I mean a kde tool, not simply an X tool). ?

In any case, I guess I'll be reduced to using xf86config.

There was a tool in 3.1, I forgot it's name, but it was the only thing that adjusted X in there. It was in the KDE control center. I just read right now at wiki.kdenews.org that they dropped somethig called kxconfig in 3.2... not sure if that is it. However, I wouldn't miss it, as it didn't work very well for me. xf86cfg is far better. Never seen anything that parallels it... it is graphical... it can adjust video settings on the fly...
