Xen on Slackware

Hi !

I downloaded the xen 3.1 package here:
http://www.xensource.com/download/dl_31tarballs.html

tar zxvf xen-3.1.0-src.tgz
cd xen-3.1.0-src

make dist
sh install.sh

I install grub, and edit /boot/menu.lst

I reboot but the xen kernel fail due to the lack of ReiserFS native support.

So i tried to edit some .config around, but the settings were overwritten.
Manual compile didn't helped too. The source code seems a mess to me.

Do someone have tips ?

Found that. Dunno if it helps.

It appears that the Xen gets installed, config in Grub to opt to boot Xen. Boot Xen then install OS(s) into Xen.

I've used Qemu, Vmware-workstation trial, Vmware Player

Maybe I start experimenting with Xen now.

Hmm, appears that a file sys must be on HD before Xen is installed?

I dunno what file sys are supported. You reported it has probs. with ReiserFS.
