X11 Monitor Resolution.

Hi there:

I installed for first time Slackware 10 a few days a go. I have been using Fedora Core, Redhat and SuSE.

The problem is that i cant set my monitor (ViewSonic P70F) to work at 1280 * 1024 @ 85Hz. I allready have changed the xorg.conf but when i restart, the resolution changes to 1280 * 1024 but the refresh still low allthought KDE says its working at 86Hz.

Any ideas?

Thanks

E

# is highly recommended.

# DefaultDepth 8
# DefaultDepth 16
DefaultDepth 24
# DefaultDepth 32

# "1024x768" is also a conservative usable default resolution. If you
# have a better monitor, feel free to try resolutions such as

# card/monitor can produce)
