[SOLVED] Wireless problems with 3.0.16 kernel

Hi, I compiled kernel 3.0.16 following alien bob instructions.
All went fine apart of one little detail, my atheros wifi card is no recognized in network manager or iwconfig.
If i run lsmod, the ath9k module is not listed.
If i had it with modprobe the problem remains?

Is there a easy solution or should return to the older kernel?

I solved my problem adding ath9k_PCI in my configuration.
