I am having a bit of a problem on Slackware 13 with my wireless card. Actually I am almost sure it is not the card. I have a hp zv6000 laptop and on this one you must turn the card on by the buttons next to the power button. Slackware does not have a keyboard layout for this anymore. it worked great on Slackware 12.2 now it does not.

My question is can I import a new layout? If so does someone have this one? The zv5000 is the same one. Or what do I have to do here to get my wireless card on here.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I have been messing with this for a week now.

I had a dv6000 with a switch on the front for wireless that was completely ignored by Slackware. I suspect your button may be ignored as well. Is it a broadcom card in there?

Yes it is funny thing is Slackware 12.2 had the layout. Now Slack 13 doesn't?
