wine + libGLU.so

I have a problem on winecfg. when I go to check mounted drives, it says it cannot mount drives.

I check in the console and it says "err:winecfgpen_mountmgr failed to open mount manager err 2"

on the first run of winecfg I got more errors, and noticed the libgl.so was included.

I have installed the nvidia drivers for nvidia.com for my card (8700M GT)

Searching I found that there was mayby a problem with mesa and nvidia official drivers coexisting causes this problem. Is seemed strange to me, but tried to remove mesa, reinstalled nvidia drivers and of course I could not run X anymore. So reinstalled it.

What could be wrong?

Googling this suggests it is a widespread problem that can be fixed by removing your .wine/ directory. This will cause you to lose all that you have installed, so I would suggest renaming it rather than deleting it. You will then be able to copy you data across if this fixes the problem.
