I have installed win4lin on slack 9 and it's working nice, but i donīt know how to set up my network in win4lin (i have windows 98SE). Anyone that knows something about this?

I also wonder if u can get direct draw and other display stuff to work so that you can play games in it.

hmm... games in win4lin + vmware are slow; if you want
to play windows games on linux, use winex.

There are two networking options for win4lin. The default is winsock, and the other one is vnet. Both of them require that your linux networking if working first.

If you have setup it with winsock, just try this.

# ifconfig

You should get the info about eth0 and the IP number (e.g

- Open a DOS Prompt
- Ping your Linux box IP

If the ping ok, thats mean your winsocknetworking is fine.

VNet need more setup. Tell me if you are not satisfied with the winsock.

By the way, why don't you ask to ?
The have mailing list as well as support forum.
