Question WiFi Problem: Host AP driver and rc.inet1

Hello,
I would like to use the Host AP driver for wireless cards under Slackware.

It works. Almost.

With the driver installed, compatible wireless cards DO come up as wlan0 and ARE configurable with iwconfig.
However, that DOES NOT appear to be compatible with the syntax used in rc.inet1 and rc.inet1.conf.
No network.

Am I on the right track suggesting that syntax is the problem here?
Can you think of a solution?

Unfortunately, I am not a programmer...

Regards,
Edafe

P.S: A working Host AP driver would open the door to Slackware providing us all with wireless accesspoints...

You can use my thread I posted awhile back. Since I've posted it I've been using the HostAP drivers without any issues yet on my laptop.

BrianW,
Am using the Host AP driver on both laptop and desktop now.

Many thanks for your instructions. Got things working in a way that is slightly different:
