Where to find boot mount entries/file sharing at LAN

Hi there,

my Slackware9 asked me whether and where to mount my fat32 partitions when I was installing it.... That means my fat32 partitions are mounted automatically when my Linux boots. Does anybody know how to change that? I want them to be mounted elsewhere, and it is annoying to change this every time by hand after booting.

Second question is about filesharing in a LAN: Is it possible (as root) to share files from any directory that is not listed in /root? My X11 tells me that I can either share files and Directorys from my ROOT directory or share nothing.

Thank you for your help.

Greetings,

Seppel

edit /etc/fstab for mount point, note that the mount diretory must exist, so you will probablyu need to create the directory yourself

look at samba for file sharing with windows client... no idea where you got that information from.. completel nonsense
