Where to Download an i386 DVD installer -.iso image- for Slackware -Current

hi everyone

Can anyone lead me to the page where I can download an i386 DVD installer -.iso image- for Slackware -Current, please. [ HTTP / FTP / Torrent link ]

If I understand correctly Slackware -Current builds are development / test builds, like Debian Testing.

Many thanks in advance. - Jags

hi "piscikeeper"

Many thanks for your reply.

From the link you provided I selected a mirror > and reached:

http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/ >

http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/sla...kware-current/ >

and finally to:

http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/sla...ent/slackware/

but in that page I don't see any .iso file to download.

I'm looking for a DVD installer for Slackware -Current / latest development / test build.

Thanks again, - Jags

slackware-current/isolinux/README.TXT
You can download all the files and make the DVD image by yourself.

Do be aware that -current is not intended for beginners or for production purposes.

You should find the images you want here.

Many thanks, that's what I was looking for. Already started downloading "slackware-current-19_Feb_2008-DVD.iso"

And yes, I'm gonna install Slackware -Current on my extra / experimental PC.

Though I'm a newbie to *nix, Solaris and Linux, I like to play around with development / test builds and have learned alott of Linux that way. [ right now there are 8 OSes installed on that PC along with Vista Ultimate ]

Is there any date / schedule for the next Slackware release (13) ?

Thanks again, - Jags

Hi,
Try 'Alien_Bob's-script -mirror-slackware-current.sh' script. It will make things a lot easier for you.
