Where is the applications.menu file?

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
I am trying to edit my applications menu to restore my wine folder to my menu. I can't seem to find the menu configuration file though. I have googled endlessly and still nothing. According to the wine wiki it is supposed to be in ~/.config/menus/applications.menu but it isn't. Can someone help me locate this file?

Good article, Woodsman.

OP, did that solve your problem?

Noddegamra, While it might be interesting info., I don't think his choice of DE/WM has much to do w/ a file not showing up where the manual says it's supposed to be.

OP, did you try the obvious locate & find commands?:
Code:
locate applications.menu | less -S
locate applications | less -S
locate menu | less -S
find ~ -name "applications.menu" | less -S
find ~ -name "*applications.menu" | less -S
find ~ -name "*applications*" | less -S
find ~ -name "*menu" | less -S
