Where from can I find libqt4-dev for slackware?

Hello.
I'm trying to install Stellarium, which requires a package named libqt4-dev. I tried looking at http://packages.slackware.it/ but it can't be found there. I'm with Slackware 11 and Qt 3.3.6. How can I upgrade my Qt without having to preinstall the whole Slackware up to version 12?
A google search on 'libqt4-dev' found nothing for slackware, but packages for Debian, Fedora and Ubuntu...
Any ideas?

Regards, Ivan.

P.S. I found source on http://trolltech.com/developer/downloads/qt/x11
I'll try installing this, I hope nothing crashes :)

Actually, I too have needed to install qt-4.x on Slackware 11 and I did so without any major issues. I installed it to /usr/local just to make extra sure nothing is overwritten ... remember that kde still depends on qt-3.x, so don't remove it if you want to keep using kde apps.

Also, know that it will take a while to compile .... a really long while :) (even on a 3.06 Ghz P4 HT) I think it took at least 45 min to 1 hr.

ivanatora,

Try using the SlackBuild from slackbuilds.org (make sure to choose the one for slack 11 and not slack 12). You should not need anything other than your vanilla slack system to build and run it.

In general, slack does not separate headers and stuff into -dev packages like other distros seem to like doing, so if you install a slackware package you have everything you need and don't need a seperate -dev package.

I've installed it, really with no problems. Time was long (on the same CPU as yours :) - about 2 hours.
Thanks for replays!
