Where are the Apache2 Files...

Where are the Apache2 source files that generate the pages when you don't have an index.*? Thanks a lot.

Okay I found that it is mod_dir. Is there a way that I can open that file? Because it's a shared library I'm not sure what to open it with. I tried KWrite but that only displayed this: ELF.

It's a binary file. You should just get the source files for apache2

Due to the fact that you do not already know that I would recommend you look for another alternative before you modify the source code in apache2.

I know that it is a binary, I just don't have the source code. I installed the slackpack for Apache. I was only wondering if I could open the file to get an idea of what I would need to do to make my own dynamic page for directories like that.

You want to make a page that shows itself if a certain directory does not contain a certain file?
