I didin't tell everything....

I load lilo to MBR and I don't now why, something went wrong, maybe my new image is to big.

I use a rescue disk from windows and execute a FDISK /MBR to clean the MBR.

Using the rescue disk from slackware, l trie to run lilo but without success, so

Then with the instalatiion disks from slackware, it was possible to create a root boot disk using lilo.

Now my system start with a boot disk, I tried to run lilo on my new image but a module block-major-3 is missing.

I don't see this module in menuconfig, can you help me on this....

I'm rigth now trying to make new modules compilation to see if I can install the missing Module.

Thanks for yours help.

Did you put your image in the root, or in /boot?

Seems to me that it should be in /boot, no? You may want to change your image=/vmlinuz to image=/boot/vmlinuz.
