The man page is man test. In the synopsis it gives the [ syntax

In my system there is a man page for 'man ['. However it does indicate that it is the same as 'man test' as impert explained.

Many times, programs built-in help is more accurate or up-to-date than the man-page.
for help on the bash built-in '[', the command is (from a bash shell prompt, of course):
'help ['

thanks! I very rarely use the `help` command. In this case, it's the way to go.
