Yeah. Shingoshi's post reminded me of the sort of mystical gobbledegook that was around in the '60s, spoken or written by people under the influence of that and/or LSD.

Agreed. I'll be buying Slackware or making a good donation when 13.1 comes out.

I can't believe we agree on something, finally.

One feature of the next release however, that I really *would* like to see, is functionality that provides for it to arrive in my post office box. I am *still* patiently awaiting my 13.0/64 DVD package and whatever other goodies I had ordered with it (I can't recall now what-all that order included, but it was a nice bunch of stuff..). Maybe my subscription has been moved to 13.(>0).

Anyhow, not to get this thread offtopic in that direction. When someone starts the new "Have you received your 13.(>0) DVD yet?" thread, someone please let me know?

Sasha

Has your credit card been charged for them?
If not maybe your order got forgotten. Ive got that in the past too when i hadnt ordered close to release date.
You can always mail the store for details..

sahko, thanks.

Nope, never got charged for the stuff either -- I have been silently hoping that the order just got bumped up to the next release (which is fine too). I can't remember *exactly* when I ordered, but it was "around" the release date of 13.0.
Once 13.x comes out, I'll contact the store and see what's up

That is interesting. I also ordered the Slackware 13.0 DVD. I didn't receive it and was not billed for it. I'm looking forward to 13.1. I will make a full donation to the store methinks.

A better compatibility between K3b and KDE4.x. Most probably it isn't a problem with Slack...

A few more install options. Also for each install option provide a size estimate required for the install. Maybe you want a basic X environment and you want to install to a CF card.

An emacs package that gets installed correctly. All icons and fonts, etc. But maybe this is a bigger dependency issue.

If you don't mind, elaborate on that a bit -- maybe in another thread. I've had some experience with something similar when building Emacs from source, and the fix may be pretty simple.

Regards,

I think this is elaborate enough, but let me know and thanks for offer.

My 13.0 installation is installed correctly. So I have no idea WTF you are posting about. Perhaps you really should explain other than posting FFUD. (You haven't bothered to reply to the other thread.)
