Question what does it mean...?


Everyone, please help me, I want to know that what does its mean in this script in each row contain in etc/inittab file in linux.
I don't know how does it work and what does it's mean please help me?

1. si::sysinit:/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit

2. ca::ctrlaltdel:/sbin/shutdown -t3 -r now

3. pf:owerfail:/sbin/shutdown -f -h +2 "Power Failure; System Shutting Down"

4. pr:12345owerokwait:/sbin/shutdown -c "Power Restored; Shutdown Cancelled"

It seems you're looking at other distribution inittab file...
but well..

si = first init script run to initialize others.

ca = well, i guess you can figure out yourself
pf = power fail, shutdown the pc in 2 minutes
pr = if power is restored in those 2 minutes, cancel it

simple

you can find more info in init, telinit and inittab man pages.

Thanks for your answer but i need it detail and want to know how does it work in each row because my teacher as me to explain him all of these

But i don't know please tell me more detail about this, thanks anyways!!
