What changes with versions?
 

I'm waiting for the new Gnome Slackbuild for Gnome 2.22 to come out. But now I see this note:

GNOME SlackBuild GNOME 2.22-CURRENT is designed and built for the upcoming Slackware 12.1. It will not work on Slackware 12.0.

I wouldn't have a problem, but I'm using Slamd64. And I am not sure how quickly or even likely 12.1 is going to be released.

So now I'm curious, what exactly changes between versions other than package versions? Especially something on a smaller scale such as 12.0 -> 12.1?
