Wget quiz && size limit?

Hi,

I just installed slackware and I've been trying to get used to it after other distros.

I have now few questions. I've downloaded the slackware-current with wget recursively. What command should I use to upgrade those packages to newer ones?

Code:
wget -r -nH -nc --cut-dirs=5 ftp://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-current/
The above issued in the slackware current folder should do it?

Main question is the wget size limit. I tried to download Knoppix liveDVD using wget but now after several hours and 98% of completion it ends saying that wget size limit exceeded.

How can I download the rest of the file and get by über liveDVD without redownloading the whole thing.

What version of wget are you using?

http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/faq.html#3.1

If it's NOT the wget version that you're having a problem with, what
filesystem are you trying to save to? FAT?

As for the slackware-current: use the same command you used last time
from the same location you used then ;}

Cheers,
Tink

I use the wget which comes with the slackware-current.
I downloaded about 4Gb so the 2Gb limit shouldn't be an issue. I use ....FAT partition. Good point on the partition issue Again, thinkin too complicated and not checking the little issues.

So, I could just copy the file to my laptop's reiserfs partition and then continue to download it fully. I'm glad this issue is solved.
