Smile warning with search by find


I mount two ntfs partitions under my Slackware
/win/C
/win/D
when i process a search via "find" it give me the following when reach /win directory
find: warning: not following the symbolic link '/win/C/Document and settings'
i want to know what is going on and the solution
thx

Hi -

It's just a warning.

You might try "-L".

You should also check:

* Does '/win/C/Document and settings' exist?
* Is it a symbolic link?
* Does it actually point to anything (or is the link broken)?

ya it exist and ,and i did not make any symbolic links i just mounted the windows partition and it brings this warning for every file in the partition not only this directory, i mean i get a long list of this warning messages for every directory in " /win/C "
