Voodoo3 drivers

First i would like to excuse for my english and hope you could understand what i'm saying.

I'm a newbie in Linux and i managed to install My slackware 10.0 (standard kernel 2.4.26). But i did not understood how shall install some drivers for my voodoo3 video card, i downloaded some drivers but they were in rpm format and if i rpm2tgz-them they still don't work. So i came here hopping that i can find some answers to my problem.

On the other hand i'm not satisfied by the generic driver "tdfx".
If anyone has an idea of how can i change this situation...
