vmware player problem with slackware current(kernel 2.6.32.7)

vmware player(3.0.1) was installed without problem.I just ran the downloaded binary from VMware.

1.I created a VM (OS Win 7)
2.Then I ran the installation image to install win 7.

The problem came when when it stucked at "Completing installation" process. If I didn't gain back my input control,my system is rendered useless and the only thing I can do is to press power button.

Any ideas on this problem.Thanks..

Update:I forgot to acknowledge that I'm trying to install my Win 7 on a NTFS partition.During the installation, the process ntfs-3g took nearly half my CPU power.I will update more.

I had the same problem when using NTFS partition to save the image. Try to use Linux partition to save the image or else the problem will arise again.

On my system, it took 99% of the CPU power, causing my desktop to stuck

I think I will allocate 20G ext3 partition to save my win7 image.

ntfs-3g doesn't play problems though with VirtualBox.But sadly VirtualBox doesn't suppport Aero.

My Win7 installed without problems but I can't enable Aero.

What's the minimum requirement on host side to enable Aero in Win7?My GPU is Intel X4500HD.
