This is not a question, actually. A lot of people at Opera *NIX forum have problems with video playback in Opera. I needed 3 things to get it working:

1. Install PepperFlash

2. Install additional FFMPEG codecs available as Slackbuild

3. Set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to where 'ffmpeg.so' file is

People usually get first two steps, but miss the 3rd. 'ffmpeg.so' is in the same directory where Opera is installed for recent releases. There are other ways to accomplish this, but the point is to have ffmpeg.so loaded.
