Cool, but I've been with comcast for a few years now, and they upped their speeds to 6mbps, for free and I didn't even have to call, just reset my modem when I got the news through email.
Is this for real? I just got Verizon 768k, and it's pretty nice. I might have to try this.
On a side note, my DSL practically set itself up in Slack 10.2. I was expecting at least a night of pain, but I booted up I was already there. Amazing.
I hope sooner or later in your area, Verizon will offer it's newer connection, Fiber Optic, now that is something to look forward to. In my area unfortunately, Verizon does not offer such service yet, but hopefully soon it will, and then maybe I can get a 15mbps down 2mbps up connection for the same price that I am paying now, for comcast at 6mbps, but until that time I'm staying with cable, far better than DSL , at least in my area anyways.
