vbox 4.1.10, slackware current 64, kde not starting for regular user

I know current might have problems.

I've been running current 64 since about end of last April and have slackpkg all updates and applied new vbox when released and have had no problems.

After last Monday 3/26/2012 slackpkg updates I cannot get KDE up as regular user but can as root.

I did overwrite old with new with last updates and checked .orig but cannot see what if anything changed.

I don't understand how root can bring up KDE and normal user can't.

Thanks for reading.

I noticed TobiSGD new post about current and video problem, not related but I did notice not using xorg.conf.

I was curious, I renamed xorg.conf to something other and now KDE loads as normal user.
