/var/log/packages gone!

I have no idea what happened, but suddenly all these dirs are missing:

/var/log/packages
/var/log/removed_packages
/var/log/removed_scripts
/var/log/scripts
/var/log/setup

Also /var/log/qmail and it subdirs was erased.

The dirs have not been rm'd.

How can they be rebuilt? As you probably know, I can't use pkgtools and its command tools as those dirs are blank.
I'm not particularily fond of reinstalling..

edit: The last daemon that wrote to /var/log dir was apcupsd. It created some event files. The last package installed is genpower. Installed with swaret

Never mind.. The disk that /var/log resides on was not succesfully mounted. That's why those dirs where missing.
