Using Slackbuild script to build Tor.

The most recent Tor, 0.2.4.19, was released today and I've been trying to use an edited SlackBuild script to build it; no luck.
I installed tsocks and created the tsocks.conf file, but regardless the build process stops and issues this error,

Quote:
/tmp/SBo/package-tor/etc/tor/tor-tsocks.conf not found or doesn't exit...
Has anyone successfully built the more recent (the last 2 or 3) versions of Tor?
Thanks.

tor no longer ships tor-tsocks.conf. It wasn't really used by anything (tsocks has its own config file).

You can solve your build problem by commenting out the offending line in the Slackbuild:

Code:
#mv $PKG/etc/tor/tor-tsocks.conf $PKG/etc/tor/tor-tsocks.conf.new
Note: It seems this might be all that's needed; test it and see.

Don't forget to comment this line in doinst.sh :
Code:
config etc/tor/tor-tsocks.conf.new
