Using kppp with a normal user...
 
when i connect with kppp when i'm a normal user i get no response from the connection why? :scratch: (i'm using slack10 and as a root i connect normally)

You don't need to use KPPP as a normal user. Open KDE Menu Editor and go to the KPP entry, and say "run program as other user" or whatever. You'll need the root password for that, but signing online is usually a root-only operation.

can you also check your /etc/resolv.conf
