using installation disk to boot slackware 9.1


I installed slackware 9.1 on my computer and I do not have a working floppy disk drive on this computer, when I installed slackware for some reason I could not install lilo, how can I boot my system from the installation cd

Be sure your BIOS is set so that the computer can boot from CD, Then boot with the CD and at the
boot:
prompt type mount root=/dev/hd??? rw
substitute your partition info for the ???

I already tried this it only got me into the installation program is it possible to boot right into the kde desktop if I already have it installed I was not able to install lilo.

Try to boot with the second CD and if it fails try google for linux boot floppy (any distrib will work)
