Using ffmpegthumbnailer in thunar

Hey all,

OK so Im running multilib. I compiled ffmpegthumbnailer and installed fine. I have thunar-thumbnailers installed, and followed the tutorial at;

http://thunar.xfce.org/documentation...ng-thunar.html

But i still have nothing. Does any one have any tips on setting up ffmpegthumbnailers?

Ok, i just got home today, and figured that i would try this out. I used the slackbuild for ffmpegthumbnailer with no luck. So I checked to see if thunar-thumbnailers pkg was still installed. It was, but it was the i486 version. So i went back to slackbuilds to get it again so i could rebuid under 86_64. the pkg that i originally installed was not the SBo it was a txz from another site. On attempting to compile with the slack build i get errors. Oh BTW i un-commented the --enable ffmpeg and commented out --enable tex. this is what i get;

./thunar-thumbnailers.SlackBuild: line 73: --build=x86_64-slackware-linux: command not found

some comment that out. then this;

./thunar-thumbnailers.SlackBuild: line 74: --enable-ffmpeg: command not found

has anyone got this to build correctly?

got it to work by compiling from source using ./configure --enable-ffmpeg. works good and fast as well.
