Useful Linux <> Windows connectivity

In case you guys don't already know these programs i just wanted to post them in the forum for future reference of other users.

1.WinSCP http://winscp.sourceforge.net/eng/
2. PuTTY ftp://ftp.cs.nott.ac.uk/pub/windows/putty/putty.exe
3. FAR plugin - from the WinSCP page

As i've mentioned in the previous post if you are running your linux box with ext2 file system on dual boot machine you could use the following app:
1. Explore2fsuranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm

aaaand that's it.

do you attend the university of nottingham? -- your putty link is bad...
Quote:

web pages of undergraduates and taught Masters students are no longer being served to machines outside the domain nottingham.ac.uk.
doesn't putty also have a sftp client?

yes, use: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~s.../download.html

Nope Hawaii Pacific University, but the PuTTY link was the first one i got. Just make sure that the version is 0.56 and up because there are security issues with the previous versions.
