Use Sox to Make a File Mono
Kernel 2.6, GNU (Slackware 12.0).
sox 12.18.1 Hi: Code:
bash-3.1# file receive48.wav |
More descriptive thread titles are courteous, helpful and more likely to attract expertise.

What catkin said;
Until such time: man sox read and learn. |
You've been a member for over 3 years now, and with more posts than I've managed since I've been here. You ought to know better, dude. To answer your question, you could probably average out the channels in the stereo. Something like:
Code:
sox receive48.wav -c 1 receive48_mono.wav avg |
some OT - don't read it if You don't like it ;)
@corbis_demon: You should know, that # of posts doesn't show the level of the text's author ;) |
Thanks for the info and thanks for the warning.
