[SOLVED] Use existing swap instead of creating a new one.

Slackware 13.0, about to install it. I do have an existing Ubuntu installation with a roomy 5 GB of swap.

In the installer of Slackware, what should I do to use this swap?

The install script should see and use the swap partition.

I agree with Woodsman.
A small question. Why a 5 GB swap partition? Do you use such a huge swap partition?

Guess: Maybe he suspends to disk and has 3Gb+ RAM.

Usually thumb rule states that 2x ram or atleast 1.5x ram, but I just use equal ramsize and suspend to disk regularly without any issues.

Yeah. I have 2 GB of RAM on my main Slackware box and use a 2 GB swap file. That works just fine for me.
