I appreciate the continued development on 32-bit Slackware. I have four 32-bit machines that use it and zero 64-bit machines.

32-bit user here too. I use mostly older machines. Seems to be more compatible with 3rd party software building as well.

I'm still using 32bit as well. Infact I just upgraded my server to 64bit but will run 32bit until I can find a 32bit netbook or laptop 10" or smaller than will run 64bit.

32bit for most stuff, wine needs it anyway, and for a (recent to me) laptop, no PAE as it is an old one which doesn't support it. xwindows with kde is still nice and responsive with only 768mg ram (mind you, I remember win95 and 4mb ram)

I am using 32-bit Slackware on an HP Laptop and also on a custom desktop, both about 7 years old. I have no real plans on getting a new machine soon, as the ones I have seem to be running fine and do everything I need them to do.

i also use 32-bit

I use 32bit because of my old machines (> 10 years). Old HWs are the best
Please support at least the security updates for 32bit in the future as long as possible!

Still using 32 bit Slackware

Hi there,
I also still use some Slack32 installs and pick some stuff from the 32 bit trees.
Please don't give it away!
Best Regards,

Karimo

Another 32 bit Slackware user here.

My fileserver , an old powerhouse desktop from years ago, currently running 13.37 and will soon get an upgrade of more storage space and a fresh install of 14.0. It can't run 64-bit (Athlon XP), but works great running a simple RAID NFS server, and will continue until I run out of socket A motherboards to throw at it or I upgrade my desktop a few years from now.

I'm still using 32 bit slackware on my netbook, an older P4 system, and as a backup on my main system. On the main box, I dual boot, 32 bit - 14 and 64 bit 13.37.

I tried multilib, mostly so I could run Googleearth. I found multi-lib a bit of a pain. Googleearth is now on the 32 bit system, and I removed the multi-lib setup. Life is slacker now.
