USB Hard Drive mounted: No files shown.

I have a Seagate USB hard drive with some backups on it. I edited my fstab and tested everything and it's all perfect except I can see no files.

Here is my fstab:

/dev/hda6 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hda5 / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/hda7 /home ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/hda2 /mnt/backup ext2 defaults 1 3
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows ntfs umask=000 0 0
/dev/sda1 /mnt/Usb vfat noauto,user,rw,exec,sync 0 0
/dev/sr0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,user,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,user 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0

Here is the output of mount:

/dev/hda5 on / type ext3 (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
/dev/hda7 on /home type ext3 (rw)
/dev/hda2 on /mnt/backup type ext2 (rw)
/dev/hda1 on /mnt/windows type ntfs (rw,umask=000)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
usbfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbfs (rw)

When I boot to Windows all the files are there. dmesg shows no errors.

if you look in your mount command, it doesn't say anything about /dev/sda being mounted. Also, I've found that windows formatted harddrives (zip disks too) need to be sda4 instead of 1.

What response do yuo get when you try and mount the hard drive?

Regarding /dev/sda4 vs /dev/sda1:
Here's my fstab entry for mounting a lacie harddrive with usb interface.
/dev/sda1 /mnt/lacie ntfs ro,exec,noauto,users,umask=222 0 0

No problems reading anything, and it is ntfs

When I mount the hard the USB drive from the console, I get no error messages. It acts as if it worked.

The drive is formatted with FAT32.

I will try sda4 and see if that works.

Thanks.
