USB 3.0 and Slackware current

Hi every one, I have slackware64 current installed, my laptop have a nec pci express ubs3.0 port, but when I connect something width startx initiated my box freeze and the caplocks led start to blink, I think maye a kernel panic.
If I connect the device before startx, I don't have problem.

Can someone help me?

Hi,

What does your logs show?

Look at the '/var/log/Xorg.0.log', 'dmesg'. Can you switch to another terminal?

I can't switch. My /var/log is mounted in tmpfs, so I loose it when I reboot.
I use XFCE may be relevant.

Hi,

Surely you have enough space to temporarily mount it. If the error is reproducible then the logs would be useful to aid in diagnosis.
