Upgraded to slack 14.0, boot hangs at udev
So I upgraded to slack 14.0 today and now my machine hangs at "udevadm --trigger=change" for about a minute. Then finally continues the boot but after finishing the boot the keyboard and mouse take about a minute to start working. So I have to sit and wait for everything to light up for about a minute before I can start using the computer.
This sucks. Is there any help for this or am I just screwed? Do I need to take a step back to 13.37 or what?? Thanks |
Maybe you can find a clue in dmesg.

Turn off computer, unplug for 1 minute and plug back in.
Simple eh? |
I'm experiencing a similar problem, although on a fresh install. I've been trying to find out who's the culprit, but no luck so far.
Could you post your configuration? The problem may lie with a component we both have, that's not initializing properly. |
