Upgraded to current - have a grub question

Hello:

I followed the directions at: http://distrowatch.com/weekly.php?is...090518#feature.

One of the options was to update LILO. I selected 'no' because I installed grub from the extras directory on my Slackware 13.1 DVD.

What would be the correct grub commands to issue at this point?

I have not rebooted my system yet due to abject cowardice!

Thanks,

dunno if you already done it but first you should read carefully UPGRADE.TXT and CHANGES_AND_HINTS.TXT (I linked the "32bit" versions of the documents).

then, if you already installed grub in the mbr, maybe you need only to have a look to the menu.lst.

I hope that the power does't go out for the next few days. (weeks?)

Thanks,

Did you run grubconfig? Grubcconfig is supposed to install the needed grub files into /boot/grub and the grub bootloader into the MBR. Gub can also be installed manually. If I can find the good grub tutorial to install manually, I came across a while back I'll post it for you.
