Question Upgrade to Kernel 3.2.45 - upgrade initrd and reinstall LILO?

Hi,

On Mon May 20, Slackware released an a Kernel upgrade to 3.2.45. However it says "Be sure to upgrade your initrd and reinstall LILO after upgrading the kernel packages"

I am a Slackware newbie so.... How can I upgrade my initrd and reinstall LILO? A step by step procedure is highly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Carlos

It's not necessary to reinstall lilo, just run it if /etc/lilo.conf changes. You'll find all the details in the Slackware wiki:
