upgrade kernel from 2.6.13 to 2.6.13.5,but can't find network card?help...

My original kernel is 2.6.13(in slackware10.2 iso).
First,i downloaded the patch-2.6.13.5.bz2 from kernel.org;then move it to /usr/src/;#cd /usr/src/linux;bunzip2 -dc ../patch-2.6.13.5 | patch -p1;last,make menuconfig make make modules_install make install.it's all ok.
reboot.
after login(2.6.13.5) i install Nvidia drive,ok.
done now.
but my network card can't find.it's work in 2.6.13.
why?Thanks

And your NIC is?

Can you boot to the old kernel? If yes, post lsmod and lspci -v

Maybe lspci will help also with the "new" kernel.
