I have been fiddling with Mandrake 9.0 for a while now, and I am ready for a little more challenge. So I am going to pick up Debian and Slackware, and play with each of these. My question is redarding upgrading packages. I know RH, Mandrake, and Debian (among others) have some programs for getting updates. Does Slack have anything like this? I know some might say "the point of slack is to do things for yourself", but I like the idea of having cron run apt-get update twice a week. Thanks!
