Updating kmenu

I currently have two submenus, Radio and Video which show up on the root menu only. I would like to add them to all users kmenus and was wondering how I would do this.

At the moment the two submenus are listed in /opt/kde/share/applnk but only seem to be available to root.

try :
cp -R /opt/kde/share/applnk/Radio /opt/kde/share/apps/kappfinder/apps/
cp -R /opt/kde/share/applnk/Video /opt/kde/share/apps/kappfinder/apps/
(just an idea)
