update the kernel 2.6 can't user LVM?

I Update from 2.4.31 to 2.6.15.6，but restart the system run vgscan it display can not load LVM Modules.but i have select the lvm when i config the 2.6 kernel.

Have you updated your lvm userland tools? lvm changed between 2.4 and 2.6, so you need lvm version 2.x.
