Unable to control cursor size

Slackware 14.1, XFCE. My eyes are not what they used to be so I want to increase the size of the cursor.

Settings / mouse and touchpad / theme

From size 16 to 36 nothing changes and when I choose 37 POW it changes to way too large to be nothing but ridiculous. There seems no way to use this setting to gain a result I can live with.

I have the same problem.

Try reducing the screen resolution. There's a pile of XFCE stuff you can install to give you the bigger cursor, themes, etc. I use terminus console fonts at size 28
