IMO you would be better off keeping your Slackware issues
in the Slackware forum, because Slackers can fix Slackware.

The Slackware forum is certainly a good place for the thread. Slackers are very keen to help out other Slackers. Also, for future reference, starting a new thread and then pointing your old thread at it is bad form. The correct method is to report your own post and request a move.
