udev error messages
Hi there,
I use slack-current and all is up-to-date. During the boot I see some strange error messages which I however could not find with "dmesg" or a "more /var/log/syslog" !? Why is that so? Sould not everything which happens on the screen during boot be loged in these files??? However is it some how possible to stop the screen during boot to have enough time to read these things? :-) regards thorsten |
The way I normally look at boot time messages is to boot into the command line, instead of a GUI login screen. Then, once you have logged in, you can use the shift+PageUp keys to review the boot messages.
