I take it, it works ok on your slackware box
I'll give it another try on slax.
Maybe some necessary config files were not copied...
Right now I'm in the process of cleaning up my
slax buildscripts. My plan is
1. lemon build script and package (done)
2. re2c build script and package (done)
3. build all the netsurf libraries (and install some
that are required to build the others)
I'm currently working on the building script
4. clean up the netsurf building script (almost done)
when I'm done with 1. 2. 3
5. install lemon, re2c, the libraries
6. finish cleaning up netsurf script, then build
the netsurf package
7. test it on slax
If it works ok, write SlackBuilds which shouldn't take too long
(basically the differences between a SlackBuild and a slaxbuild
is that
1. in SlackBuild I use makepkg, doinst.sh and I gzip the man pages
2. in slaxbuild I use mksquashfs and I don't gzip the man pages
